'Efforts to improve ties with Pakistan faced hurdles'– PM Modi on Lex Fridman podcast

Prime Minister Narendra Modi believed that Pakistani citizens crave peace because they have grown tired of enduring continuous warfare alongside terrorist disruptions which kill innocent children along with numerous others.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared in American computer scientist Lex Fridman's podcast broadcast on Sunday to state that all Pakistani attempts at peace cooperation ended with hostility and treachery. He desired that Pakistani leaders would demonstrate wise judgment to enhance the bilateral relationship.

 

Pursuing peace according to Prime Minister Modi

PM Modi recounted his invitation to Nawaz Sharif during the 2014 swearing-in because he hoped for a fresh start between India and Pakistan. During his swearing-in he invited Pakistan to start fresh but his every step toward peace ended in hostility and Pakistani betrayal according to the prime minister. The Prime Minister of Pakistan disagreed to my invitations during my inauguration ceremony because he wanted to continue hostile relations instead of pursuing peace according to Prime Minister Modi.

Strengthen bilateral ties as a demonstration of friendship

The speaker expressed true hope Pakistan would choose the path of peace because peace remains the greatest aspiration of Pakistan's people. The three-hour-long candid discussion between Modi and Lex Fridman touched upon governance development and global affairs and India's development.The Prime Minister stated Pakistani residents want peace because they experience ongoing turmoil and terrorist attacks which both kill innocent children and ruin multiple families.At the start he considered his initial attempt to strengthen bilateral ties as a demonstration of friendship.
